Jezera, Croatia JEZERA is a village and harbour in the cove bearing the same name on the north-eastern coast of the island of Murter.

The Jezera Nautical Centre with a marina has been built on the north-eastern coast of the island of Murter, in the southern part of the cove of the same name. A regional road connects Jezera with the main road Zadar - Sibenik. The yachting school is organized in the summer months. Jezera is one of the starting points for cruises to the Kornati archipelago.

Jezera ACI Marina has 220 berths in the sea and 60 places on the land. It is open throughout the year. It is on the island of Murter, in the southern part of Jezera Cove. It is protected by a breakwater on the eastern side. The berths have water and power supply.

Facilities: Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, repair shop, 10 t crane, parking lot, sailing school (Academia Navalis Adriatica), boat charter - Sun Adriatic Yachtcharter. The gas station is at the operating pier of the marina.

Traffic connections: By car the island of Murter is reachable from the directions of Zadar and Split by a draw-bridge in Tisno. In summer there are daily ferry lines from Zadar and Split, which both have airports.

Jezera (Lakes) was named after numerous pools and puddles which appear in karst valleys during heavy rainfall. Jezera offers a lot of sunshine, clear seawater and the nice cove with a beautiful beach. Fresh fish and other seafood are offered daily.
